Lithan Hall Academy Singapore, in partnership with WDA, offers the following NICF courses to upgrade your skills.
All of these courses have funding of course fees by WDA Singapore (for Singaporeans and Permanent Residents).
NICF Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Supply Chain Management
Developed by Victoria University, Australia, this course aims to develop an understanding of the primacy of flow processes and inventory management through Supply Chains, in response to customer orders, for operations and logistics managers. It introduces the concepts, practical elements and strategy of business supply chains within their purpose of manufacturing and distributing goods and services to customers.

On successful completion of this course, students should be able to:
- Understand the concept of an integrated supply channel, or value stream, serving a set of customers
- Be familiar with the characteristics of nodes (stocking points) and links (transport)
- Investigate, analyse and report on a practical distribution, transportation and/or materials management channel by research project
- Understand and apply the tradeoffs required in providing resources for adjacent processes in logistics channels to attain required performance at an acceptable cost
- Appraise and set up relationships with external business associates such as customers and suppliers throughout the supply chain
- Be familiar with Logistic information systems, especially computer systems such as ERP, MRP II, EAN, WMS and DRP, performance measurement and improvement
- Develop a strategic logistics plan for a focal manufacturing or service company in a supply channel
- Get acquainted with advanced planning and optimisation (APO) software; SAP's supply Chain modules

Delivery Method
This course will be delivered 1 session (3hours – 2 hour lecture and 1 hour tutorial) a week over 12 weeks. Students will be given sufficient time for hands-on practice on the SAP System through self-paced learning/ practice sessions. Students are expected to spend at least ten hours per week studying for this course (including lecture and tutorial sessions). Practice sessions should be spent on reading, research and working on exercises. Workloads may be greater for periods when students need to complete assignments or to prepare for tests.

Graduation requirement
Candidates for graduation need to pass the following assessments:
- SAP APO Computer Exercise (Practical)
- Case Study Presentation
- Major Supply Chain Project
The following awards will be issued to graduands who successfully pass the assessments.
- IT-CIO-506S-1 – Align the IT needs with the strategic direction of the enterprise (awarded by WDA)
- IT-IM-302S-1 – Analyse data and generate reports (awarded by WDA)
- SAP SCM Alliance Certificate offered by Victoria University, Australia and SAP Australia
An exemption will be given to graduates for one module of the Masters of Business (ERP Systems) programme offered by Victoria University, Australia.

NICF ERP Overview (Corporate)
Developed by Lithan Hall Academy, Singapore, this course aims to give participants the necessary knowledge and skills to effectively and efficiently develop and manage an ERP solution within the Finance and Human Resources domain. Upon completion of this programme participants should develop an appreciation for ERP solutions and how these can be integrated with business process to provide real time information.

This programme is available to Singaporeans and Permanent Residents (local trainees) only. The following programme fees apply (in Singapore Dollars).

For Company-sponsored Students
To encourage more Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) to send their workers for skills upgrading and to enhance productivity, the Government will be increasing the funding subsidy for this group. The Enhanced Training Support for SMEs will help SMEs further lower the cost of sending their employees for certifiable training programmes supported by the Singapore Workforce Development Agency (WDA). SMEs will get to enjoy subsidies of 90% of the course fees when they sponsor their employees for the above-mentioned courses as well as claim absentee payroll funding of 80% of basic hourly salary at a higher cap of $7.50 per hour. This three-year initiative will take effect from 1 July 2012.
