Through Lithan Education, our parent company, we aim to create a Cooperative Education ecosystem composed of industry players (Lithan Hall Academy, Singapore government agencies and employers). Such an ecosystem can serve as a recruitment channel and provide employers an opportunity to closely examine the skills and suitability of our students for potential full-time employment before they finish training. It also provides an enthusiastic, short-term apprentice (or intern) who can undertake projects or tasks which might not get done cost-effectively otherwise. Furthermore, employers get a chance to contribute to our curriculum design.

In partnership with Singapore’s WDA, we offer specialized programs that produce professionals with the knowledge as well as practical skills that enable them to be productive quickly. Through the NICF-IGNITE program, we can provide you the skilled resources you need in enterprise resource planning with very cost-effective investments in training and payroll costs.

About the NICF-IGNITE Program

Available only to Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents, NICF-IGNITE is an apprenticeship scheme for:

1. Career-switchers/unemployed PMETs who want to convert into ICT jobs
2. Existing ICT professionals who want to switch careers into new ICT subsectors

The NICF-IGNITE lays out a structured pathway to help employers select, induct and prepare potential candidates for the job. The scheme consists of two components - the mandatory NICF training programme and an on-the-job training component. The total duration of the apprenticeship programme can last between three and twelve months. Apprentices will be involved in hands-on work and receive on-the-job training under the supervision of qualified and skilled staff.
