Lithan Hall Academy gets 4-years CPE registration under the Enhanced Registration Framework (ERF)
Singapore, August 6, 2010 – Lithan Hall Academy, a specialist education provider in Singapore delivering academic programs for Business and IT professionals, got 4 years CPE registration under the mandatory Enhanced Registration Framework (ERF) of the Council for Private Education (CPE). Lithan Hall’s suite of academic programs includes Victoria University’s (Australia) Master of Business in ERP Systems
The ERF, as set out under the Private Education Act and the Private Education Regulations, spells out the mandatory registration requirements and legislative obligations, which all private education institutions (PEI), operating in and from Singapore, must meet. Administered by the CPE, the ERF aims to enhance the overall quality of private education institutions in Singapore and ensure that they are of a certain acceptable standard in order to protect the interests of the students enrolled in their schools. CPE offers varying validity periods of registration status as an incentive for PEIs to improve their standards in order to attain a longer period of registration. (from www.cpe.gov.sg).
“We are extremely gratified to get our CPE registration under the mandatory ERF. The fact that the CPE granted us 4 years registration validity is an indication of how much Lithan Hall Academy measures up to the registration criteria, our corporate governance, the quality of our instructors, and the transparency of our information in delivering academic education to our students” says Krishna Ramoo, Lithan Hall Academy’s chief operating officer.
